From the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office(Kandiyohi Township) – On March 28, 2024 at approximately 1:07 PM, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired from a vehicle. It was learned the shots were fired towards another individual leaving their driveway in a separate vehicle. The suspect vehicle was ultimately located by a Willmar Police Officer in the City of Willmar where the suspect vehicle eluded law enforcement. The vehicle eventually left the roadway in the 1700 block of Willmar Avenue SW. A perimeter was set by law enforcement and the alleged shooter was apprehended in a nearby shed without incident. Two other individuals fled the scene of the suspect vehicle and have not been located.
