Fatal Crash in Kandiyohi County
52-year-old Dalia Zuniga of Willmar was killed in a two-vehicle crash west of New London on highway 72 in Kandiyohi County early Sunday morning, July 24th. Zuniga died when the 2015 Chevy Malibu she was driving collided head on with a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by 18-year-old Daniel Lohse of Willmar. Lohse was treated at the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the Zuniga vehicle was treated at the Willmar hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The accident was investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol, assisted by several local agencies.
