From Q92 Radio News.At 2:10 Friday morning (9/20) the Dawson Fire Department was called to a house fire at 1162 Pine Street in Dawson. Upon arrival, they found the East side and roof of the house were on fire. The second floor and roof were destroyed. The first floor sustained heavy water damage. No one was home at the time. The fire was called in by neighbors. There were no injuries. Dawson Fire Chief Brian Hersom said firefighters were at the scene for 3 1/2 hours. The cause is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall. The Dawson Fire Department was assisted by Boyd Fire, Madison Fire, Dawson ambulance, and the Dawson PD.
